I don't believe anything can be done to stop thievery, It's been around forever and always will be.

I guess you just have to be extremely cautious and prepared for anything to happen, especially when your working with million + dollar inventories.

It's amazing these crooks feel the need to steal one of the hottest metals going..

Just last week in my area the new scam is putting scanning inserts into ATM's with another small video device in the Banks pamplet holder at the right angle and then the theives copy your card number and pin number. A few days later while 100 miles or 1000 miles away your whole bank account is wiped out within the time you get your next bank statement or when your mortgage company sends you a letter that your payment wasn't made or your check bounced. Beware.. This is going on during the wee hours of the morning and on weekends.. Don't be the next target..

Just plain scum of the earth.. I have gotten into trouble many times by saying this, but people like this and people that go out of their way to discredit someone are MISTAKES AT BIRTH.. Never having a chance in life..

I am very sorry for this coin owner and his loss.. I will keep an eye open for the coins here in Southern Maryland.
