need help on this morgan dollar

Hi everyone

I have a question and I'm starting it here. I have a Morgan dollar where the S Mint Mark looks square and filled. Is this what they mean when they say "filled S"? Does NGC grade this automatically or is this an attribute/variation? Thanks for any help in this matter. I appreciate it.
