I, personally, would not. Your silver rounds are worth about $20 a pop, given current spot, and from what I can see the Buffalo is between $100-$200. If it was a PF-70 that's a different story, but if silver goes up to $30/oz. then you're in a better situation as the Buffalo is based on numismatic value rather than bullion.

Me too... Silver is high right now and will come down at some point. The buff is not coming down. Silver rounds are the answer if you ask me.

Would you do this trade? Would you give up 8 1oz silver rounds for 1 2001 proof P-Buffalo ungraded?

For business purposes, I would not. I'd sell the silver immediately, buy the buffalo, and still have a few bucks left over. But as a collector, I'd rather own the buffalo any day over the silver rounds.
