1954 S Jefferson DDR.....here are some pics of an unusual and not well known DDR

1954-S 5c DDR-002, 2-R-VIII

 

 

I sent some pics of this a while back to Coneca......What I found out was it was discovered within weeks of my find,

 

I pulled a couple of these from an OBW of Jeffersons, a very cool and different type of DDR.....it is now listed at Coneca,

 

I sent one to Mike Diamond who was kind enough to photograph it for

Variety Vista, James Wiles had just days before attributed this variety for ANACS as

1954-S 5c DDR-002, 2-R-VIII

Great DDR Jason,

 

Much more visible then my "almost discovery" congrats, one of these days I hope to be the first to find a Variety like yours.....as you know it;s very time consuming..and can get expensive searching..

I remember that Jefferson and I also remember looking at all my 54-S for that anomaly, nada.

 

One cool coin.

 

note: I do have however, plenty of what I call "snow drift" 54-S steps
