Oh so it was you! Jim, I was bidding on that one too, and got out at $1100. That piece went for far more than I was expecting, but it looks like a gorgeous piece of gold.

did you bid on the 1880-S MS61 PL? I stepped out of that one after chasing it for a bit -- and figured I'd rather spend more money on a MS62 PL anyway.

No, I bid on that one and the 1893 NGC MS-61 PL $10.

 

I didn't really go too crazy over these because I am buying for type, and they seem to be somewhat available.

 

That and because I was really chasing another piece, which I will show when I recieve it.
