Morgan dollars -- 1893-s or 1894 which is best value?

2 posts in this topic

Both are considered "keys". Which one offers the best "value" at today's level -- in XF or higher? Or is there a "sleeper" out there that is even a better "value" in the Morgan series?

All opinions are appreciated.

OT: I am glad you reposted your original question as that last thread got hijacked to Cuba :) or some other tiny Island somewhere heheh

I like the 1901p myself as in higher grades they are tough to come by BUT not astronomically so, and will not destroy the pocket book.

The production numbers were large but a great majority were destroyed by the mint so the actual remaining numbers is the unknown factor.

Between the 93s and 94 - I would go 94 just because of the pocketbook factor -

being able to buy a whole lot of coin 65/66 for not a tremendous amount of money is my decision maker :)

Good Luck
