AU is the correct grade range. It might be the pictures and my computer screen but the underlying color looks off to me. This might have been cleaned years ago and retoned.

murty, I think you would properly call that - undipped by you. The coin looks cleaned and retoned as TJ said, and not very attractively if you ask me. AU-50 tops.

I will also agree that this coin looks to have been messed with in some way such that it would probably get a details grade. Other then that it is Au .

I will take the prior comments a bit further....I think the previous dipping was not properly neutralized and that is what resulted in the current toning.....dip residue

XF45-AU50, cleaned and retoned. 96-O is one of those dates that doesn't get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to a problem-free AU50 grade. Since it's cleaned, it'd probably get "AU Details"
