What does UNC details mean on a coin recently graded? thanks

It means that there is a problem with the coin. They also put the problem that the coin has on the label.

Until only recently, you wouldn't get a slab like that. Instead, NGC would send your coin home in a "bodybag" with a notation why it couldn't be graded. Sometimes it might have been for improper cleaning, environmental damage, post-Mint damage, etc. Now, you receive the coin in a slab with a "Details" Grade and the reason why it could not be graded normally.

unc. details means an unc coin WHICH could be barely unc or EVEN choice or gem unc. BUT has problem(s)
