This 1892 micro O is so small I can't see it

Looks like a Philly issue to me. I emailed the seller with (as expected) no reply.

Wishful thinking on a worn coin. seen it many times (and have probably fallen for it a time or two myself.)

My eyes are not what they used to be - but - that's one very faint mint mark.

I don't see it either.

 

If I owned that coin - I'd send it to a top TPG [ NGC or PCGS or ANACS ]

and get the coin in a Genuine holder.

 

The coin if it is a Micro O - would be worth $2K in that AG 3 Grade as a Genuine

and raw - he'll get no more than $500 [iMHO ] for an unknown coin.

 

Maybe that's why he's not getting into a TPG Holder - its not a real Micro O.
