1913 Barber Half Dollar

This is a recent pick up from my local shop's bid board, you can never go wrong with a nice semi-key coin

The photos are a bit brighter than the coin in hand and it does have a few scattered abrasion hairlines.

it is strange as why my screen picks up the reverse and more than one board member cant see it

 

maybe you can adjust your computer screen to a wider angle??

I'd say G-07...I know they don't grade a 7th point but I don't feel it's worth of a VG-08 but still is a hair better than a G-06

You need some LIBERTY to get a VG. I know that is a tough standard given the delicate nature of that word on the coin, but that has been the standard for years. The fact that you can see some “E Pluribus Unum” really doesn’t help much because much of the grade is based upon the obverse.

I vote for G-6. The scratches tend to suggest a net-grade down to G-4, but I will guess that at actual size, they are not so distracting as is implied in the jumbo image.
