Hi all .. been offline again due to 7 Trojan septics and more attacking my computer !! it is now all cleaned up and safe as possible .. with CAAV and more

but back to coins

 

In the sale at spinks i managed to pick up a lot of tokens and such and these couple are my favorites out of the lot

 

this is a Civil war token for Wards dated 1863

I have found it listed in Rulau book as 175Q-1a R7 reverse die 1024 but from this it says it has a plane edge but as you can see my one has a reeded edge .. is this unusual ?

The other interesting one is this Button .. can anyone tell me any information about it .. like is it from 1921 or a moden re make and are they collectable ect ?

On the reverse it has BASTIAN BROS CO ROCHESTER N/Y and M.P.B / P.I.U

Fuld lists the MI Q-1a with a reeded edge. Rulau is not a great place to look up Civil War tokens. The token is an R-7. Kanzinger priced it at $225 in EF.
