Is there a way to find out what the mintages are to date for any coins?

50 cent coin is the least produced according to the mint stats for 2009 thus far.

Thats interesting considering that the first 2009 coin I found in my pocket change was a half dollar

last years numbers were low for the half as well.. Why are these coins being minted in such small numbers? Look at pennies.. Over BILLION already or did I misread that?
