2008 American Buffalo 1/4 oz Gold Proof & Uncirculated Coins

[font:Comic Sans MS]The obverse and reverse bear the original designs by James Earle Fraser that appear on the 1913 Buffalo nickel. This coin is approximately the same size as the nickel thereby putting heavy demand on this one year type coin! A profile of a Native American appears on the obverse and an American Buffalo appears on the reverse. The coin carries inscriptions of the denomination, the weight of gold content, the year of minting or issuance and the words "Liberty," "In God We Trust," "United States of America" and "E Pluribus Unum."[/font]
