Is it me, or does it look like they only polished the fields of the coin. Whomever altered the surface of that coin did a very good job of making it look good. I think that coin would fool many people.

Why cant this coin be Prooflike? I dont see anything visible to suggest its anything more than a PL coin. Certainly dipped but no other evidence of damage shows.
