Attack of the Killer Prongs -- the New NGC Holders!

I completely disagree as to the prongs making coins more difficult to photograph, nor do I believe they cover "too much rim" if you compare them to the old holders. If anything, I would guess that even on the smallest coins (trimes, half-dimes), they leave at least 60% more rim showing than the previous holders. And for sure, I feel completely certain that PCGS holders cover more rim than do the prongs.

 

The NGC pronged solution is not perfect. Actually, the only "perfect" solution is to immediately crack out all your coins and enjoy them completely unencumbered. Very few collectors have the courage (or foolhardiness) to do that.
