A couple of 1943 1c die errors.

Yes, I was referring to the partial and shadow fours. I was told by collectors in my area that these are quite common but wasn't sure some people had ever seen one. Just a point of info for them.

Ah, now I see it. Yeah, these are struck through grease, and are very common. These was an Ebay hypster selling some 2003's for as much as he could milk out of them, but he was ripping people off. Yours are kinda cool as an example of the error, mostly because yours are on the one year type steel pennies, but it is not worth a premium.

 

And BTW, these would not be considered die errors. There are three kinds of errors (if I recall correctly) - die errors, planchet errors, and striking errors. These would be a striking error.
