Ending Sunday night on eBay is an 1844-C quarter eagle graded AU Details - Improperly Cleaned by NCS. Please have a look here . My first exposure to this coin is detailed in this thread ATS. I'd normally "spare you the stories," but I'm selling this for the elderly mother of a friend of my wife's, and she could use the money. Thanks for your consideration!
