Question about eBay Live auction?

7 posts in this topic

Hello Everyone, :hi:

I have never used eBay Live auctions.....but have found a coin that I really want.

I signed up (You must sign up in order to take part in a live auction) and HA has accepted me for bidding.

So what happens next?

Does anyone just place the absentee bid?

Thanks for any help!!

I never have used eBay Live, but if you are talking about Heritage Auctions you would do better to sign up and bid from their web page. On eBay you will pay a 20% buyers fee while on their site you only pay 15%.

Then you won't win it with a bid under 500.00. Any proxy bid under the minimum will immediately be outbid once the auction lot goes live. In fact, it probably won't even show up in the bid history.
