Hey all,

A online friend sent me these pics and asked what's going on with this Indian Cent. Is this anything to worry about? I asked for better pics but haven't heard back yet. If you can't tell don't sweat it. Thanks

Was it improperly stored? It also appears to have been rubbed by a soft cloth or even the fingers which impaired the luster. Hard to tell from the photo.

It has no date lol ! Just kidding.... the surface residue needs to be removed. If it's a desirable issue, then this coin is an NCS possibility.

I told him it could be PVC residue and that depending on the date(or not), NCS might be an option.

Can you tell what kind of residue or verdi gris maybe?

By the way, when I first got the pictures I told him exactly what was wrong.NO DATE.
