Here is a wonderful book that should be a welcome addition to any collector, especially one that collects numismatic related books.

Printed in 1884, 'The Current Gold and Silver Coins of All Nations' is a wonderfully written piece that must have been one of "the" books to own from this era. With tons of carefully drawn pictures of the world's silver and gold coins, it outlines everything in detail by country. As expected, it highlights a good portion to US coins. I'm especially fascinated with a chapter at the end that highlights the recent US coin auctions and their results. If we could only buy them for those prices today!

The spine is coming apart, and some of the pages are starting to come loose, something that could be remedied with a bit of restoration.

All in all, a wonderful book that was painstakingly written and illustrated by some true numismatists of their day.

$ 70.00 + $5 shipped in the US, payment by Paypal please
