Remember September 11, 2001

7 posts in this topic

It is now the 7th anniversary of 9/11.

9/11 was one of the most pivotal events in world history.

Its impact will be felt for years to come.

I was sitting in government class when the teacher turned on the tv and the

class sat in silence watching the tv.

I joined the Navy about 3 weeks after the 9/11.

I would just like to thank everyone for there service.

My prayers go out to all who suffered on that horrific day. That includes the brave souls on Flight 93, FDNY, NYPD and the staff at the Pentagon. My father's gravesite at Arlington National Cemetery, unfortunately, is in full view of the north side of the Pentagon.

Every man, including my eligible sons, in my family has served in the military. Schatzy, thank you for your service. May all those killed by terrorists on September 11, 2001 rest in peace and all of the New York policemen and firemen who lost their lives on that day be forever regarded as heroes.

I spent 6 years in the Navy from 1984-1990 because it was convenient, not for patriotic ideals.

You, however, joined as a patriot and I truly respect that! :applause: (thumbs u (thumbs u :applause:
