1891-CC PCGS MS63 Morgan Dollar VAM 3 "Spitting Eagle" $600 (#2088)

A "Top 100" variety, the ever-popular "Spitting Eagle" is represented here by a well-struck

and lustrous piece. Housed in a "green-labeled" PCGS holder, this Morgan has minor,

scattered marks that account for the grade. The obverse has plum and blue toning on the

upper left area and burnt orange toning on the lower left area. The reverse is essentially

white with a light mottling of tannish toning. Overall, a very pleasing Morgan for the grade

and variety. (Please note that the coin is slightly rotated in the holder.)

The image says it all... just plain, WOW! This is a remarkably well-preserved premium Gem from the Philadelphia mint.

Shimmering luster and gold, gray and lilac colors are observed on this exquisite nickel.

 

1931-S PCGS MS65 Buffalo Nickel $330 (#9715)

This gorgeous Gem has Goldish-tan toning on the obverse, but the reverse is where the color is. There's a little more than what i could capture with the digital camera. Overall, a very pleasing gem '31-S Buffalo nickel.
