Here is a 1999 quarter that I put away in a tube pulled it out and.... it looks like this.. Here is a pic

Tape residue on either side?

i don't see how there could be any tape on it... what makes it interesting is the way the lines line up..... almost loooks like it was brushed ... but you can't really tell

It appears to be some kind of inviromental damage to me.
