Sorry no after shots at the moment as they are still on there way back from the US

 

Yes ant all were given No grades bar 3 the first time before the reqested conservation.. the countermarked ones did not grade and i did not expect them to.. and the 38cent also did not grade.

ok i got it then :) i thought wrong. you did a ngc = BB then conserved them and they all graded. awesome!

 

NO ant i sent them to NCS and asked for them to be conserved regardless of grade and then sent to NGC for grading.. for some reason they did not conserve any of the coins and NCS slabbed the ?"upgradeable" coins.. i then sent them back and had them all conserved.. (thumbs u as initially requested and bishbashbosh !!! now they are graded :grin:

Why not just put these types of coins in cardboard mounts and enjoy them? You're spending more on plastic, shipping, conserving (I don't see anytthing that needs it, BTW) than this stuff is WORTH.

Thanks for your comments frank.. but i guess this is the first of my posts you have see :applause: You will understand me and what i do more once you see more posts from me the ... Daft Englishman lol... Profit is not the only reason people have coins graded etc...

back and had them all conserved.......and bishbashbosh !!! now they are graded :grin:

I'm happy you got them the way you wanted , conserved and holdered .

Well, it looks like NCS cannot do anything about the green stuff (verdigris) on the copper. I have heard that very long soaks in olive oil might get rid of it, but the surfaces will still be damaged enough to no-grade the coin.
