Hi all got a nice package back today.. some nice stuff and some interesting conserved results.. see what you think..

 

1939 DDR 5c and the woods Minstrels token

They did some great conservation work on the 1939 to get it to grade

I think all the coins improved except for the shield nickel. Although they removed the PVC, the remove a little too much original surface for my tastes.

 

The 1873 cent looks much better after.

I think NCS did a nice job. I don't really care how the '73 cent looks, but I like the nickel. Just a quick question, how come you didn't get the nickel slabbed?

 

They would not slab the nickel as it was classed as improperly cleaned :eek:

what was the cost of your submit if you dont mind me askin? im trying to get a rough idea of cost on my first go at ncs.
