bookfinder.com shows several copies of the Bowers book for under $25. (I don't know if the sellers ship outside of the US, though.)

There are also several copies of the German coin book available for around $50.

Bowers wrote "action guides" for a number of denominations about 20 years ago or so. I haven't looked at any of them so I don't really know how valuable they are, but I haven't heard of anyone recommending them.

I have enjoyed David Bowers's books over the years. All have been a great read.

He writes things in a way that makes it fun.
