Hi all i have just received these slabs form a lad in the uk

and i have had to use his pictures as you know i cannot scan slabs..

the dilemma is that the 1880s seems to be a Very large mint mark (vam3) and the wreath looks like it is doubled like Vam69.. also the 1879s looks like Vam15 S/S doubled mint mark and has large amounts of die polishing lines in the fields and the hair and the date could be doubled.. so i am debating busting them open having them conserved and VP then regraded ? what do you lot think ?

The 1923 and the 1944 are fine at the grade and the 44 has some nice tone

put down the knife!

someone stop him! lol

I think it's too late. Now, the 79-S & 80-S are two-headed coins.

Dooly, unless they are Top 100 or Hot 50, it wouldn'r be worth it to resubmit.

Ok you lot you have saved them for now with the VP but i still fancy having them conserved to see if they can clear the fields from the muck and fingerprints.. also the bit of muck on the 1880s face is bugging me..

also do you think the 1880 has a chance of PL ?
