1828 Capped Bust Half O.119 Small Letters Reverse

Just got this from Stu Keen, and the template is courtesy of Space Monkey. A tough die marriage, the only small letters reverse of the 1828, and necessary for a variety set, a Redbook Collection, and a Dansco Album of Early Half Dollars.

It's interesting that this "filled A" reverse die was later used on an 1829 half, as well.

 

Not that much later...in fact, the 1828-119 was actually minted in 1829 rather than in 1828.

I actually saw your pics on coinzip first. That is a toughie that gets a hefty premium. Nice example!
