Who are the best at Overton evals on this forum? I need two or three names if possible. Would be great if they have the "Early Half Dollar Die Varieties" book.TIA-Jim

Many, if not dozens, are quite adept at giving attributions. If you need help the key is to supply some good images.

Any competent bust half collector with the book should be able to help. Post the images and I'll at least take a shot.

I'd use Peterson as a supplement to Overton. Some people on the board here have a more succesful (I won't say easier) time of figuring the Overton number out from photos. Otherwise, with a coin in hand, a glass, and those two books, it should be the rare one that becomes difficult.
