Found another intresting world error

Hi all

 

while i have been going through some more coins for my sale I found this coin..

 

it's not that old but quite intresting ,, what do you think

The "beaded" look makes it appear almost purposefully engraved. However, it truly looks like a serious case of die deterioration doubling. The fields of the coin, with significanly heavy flow lines, supports the idea that the coin was struck from a very worn die.

I'd have to go with machine doubling. Very cool though.

I agree with Hoot, I see a lot of die errosion on this coin.

I agree with Hoot. This is a very nice case of DDD, which is not rare, and does not really carry a premium, although I have sold a couple of nickels on Ebay for a dollar or so.
