I have broken a eBay record price for a coin

Hi all

 

Hows about this .. i have broken the record for a 1816 Shilling and the coin still has some time to go when i have looked at compeated listings for this coin it has peformed very well .. Why ? do you think the Trippled F has made the diffrence ? Gess i should have put a picture up of the Doubled 1 in the date as well !

In my estimation, that is a fair price for a shilling as gorgeous as that. I actually wouldn't be surprised if it went a bit higher. My VF specimen cost me 20 bucks.

Nice find for £10 in VF

 

i have had to add some pictures to the listing as an eagle eye out there found out that it also has a Double/repunched 1 in the date !!!!! missed that one.. i hope it goes a bit higher so i can reivest it in a nice USA coin for my collection

That's pretty neat. I don't think mine has that, I would have noticed it. But I am not sure, so I'll have to go back and check.
