This blows me away. I bought mine a couple of years ago for $10 and never thought anything else about it, then, I seen one for sale.It sold for almost $200 raw.
Now, granted, the original dies were used, to the best of my knowledge, and there were only 20,000 made of the copper but jeez.
I have also seen examples graded by NGC, yes it's recognized, graded MS-68 has a buy it now price of $400 on Ebay.
Any input or thoughts on this token/medal.
By the way I thought about having mine graded but after seeing the pix I'll keep it raw..

Yes do tell!
-
Looks more like AU to me, nice pick up.
-
Yarm could you PM me what something like that would cost, or post it.White medal tends to "gray" on the high points and this piece hasan unfortunate hit on Victoria's neck. Nevertheless, it's nice to pick
up a cool medal without breaking the bank!

Seems like a common way to commemorate a meeting between heads of state was
this sort of medal in white metal with facing heads. Couldn't find this one in Brown's BHM's.
WOW!

A lot of good books already mentioned, but a must for error collectors:
Cherrypickers guide
the price guide to mint errors, this book goes into detail about the different planchet errors, 8 different types of Hub Doubling, just on and on, very good book,
Strike it rich with pocket change: ok for modern stuff.

That is truly awesome, if they weren't side by side like that I'd never know, what you did is truly educational. Question; Is this one of those mules that were purposely made or is it an actual error?

Bruce and Skyman, Where do you find those toners? or do you make them yourself, if so I would like the recipe. De'amn them are nice.

Fire away while I crop the others.
Man that 38 D Buff is a lock for an upgrade, From what I see there's nothing on the cheek but luster, I love it.
And Winston I apologize I was unaware of the grade, with the color and grade confirmation I'd say you done A' ok.
-
Winstonware no offense, but only $65, that seems like a lot of money for a 64 Kennedy.
Though the coin is beautiful.
