  1. Having a heck of a time trying to load photos so trying to give some but keeps erroring.
  2. I started looking at my grandparents collection (overwhelming) of paper dollars and all types of currency. So starting with the easiest to get advice on is the following (see pictures). I was to overwhelmed to look through thousands of Kennedy half dollars, and many more coins. Any advice appreciated.
  3. Greenstang, thanks and unique but not a fan of destroying a good Lincoln Cent. Can’t imagine if this would be a rare coin and to find that on it .
  4. Are these state imprints done individually at gift shops or whats the deal with these?
  5. Sorry for lighting and I will google when out and about which is what I did and clearly used wrong terminology. This is very dark cent and doesn’t appear if any plating was ever on this one. If worn that much where plating would be off it is in good shape for wearing that 100% off.
  6. Is this what we call copper clad missing? And if so does it make the coin any more valuable or better off keeping for example? Sure it doesn’t make it much more the current value but let me hear it!
  7. And yes the Coin is worn for sure and so worn that my eyes saw double/ adrenaline dump followed and thanks for respectfully bringing me back down to earth.
  8. I fully trust what you’re saying and am not questioning response. It caught my eye and due to odd thickness I figured and hoped (I'm sure like many) that I found the one. So long story short what I am gathering is don’t pay attention to thickness of year, letters, etc, focus on the separation of doubling. Hope I interpreted it right. Also this Lincoln Cent found me I didn’t go looking so figured it had to be the one lmao.
  9. Did I find one? This drew my attention as the Lincoln Cent looked odd and upon looking it appears to have doubled date, and letters. Please tell me this is not mechanical doubling and I found an actual 1969 S DD. Odd looking finish or just maybe worn down.
