  1. I believe the GS is for German Silver. The A is probably for Antique, but don't see where the R comes in. It would be astounded if it meant Antique Rubbed German Silver, but for the ones I have, that actually describes the medal pretty well. Ideas?
  2. Several NGC medals I have show a designation of AR/GS on the label, but I do not know what AR/GS stands for. I believe this is the 'metal type', as in silver, bronze, white metal, etc, but what is AR/GS? I assume it is an abbreviation for something. thank you.
