Don't say it is not a Dahlonega. It was sold as a 1927. Both grading companies have flaws. I have skills and the law if it comes down to it. Grader opinions will be the downfall of both companies. All I care about is the truth. The facts are the markers I use to identify coins. The next month or so will be interesting.

@Derek Bentley, are you thinking that the date portion of the NGC label which reads "1870 S$1" means that this is a dollar minted in SF? The S after the date is not for the mint but rather it stands for silver as in a silver dollar, not a dollar minted at the SF mint. Here is one of my Morgan dollar slabs, as you can see it also has the "S$1" but the mintmark (in this case S for SF) is placed before the "S$1".
Oh really then how does this read? 1870 Not silver $1 dollar???

Funny how the markers are forgot. That which determines authenticity. It has the markers that what the circles show. I could care more about it if I didn't have better. Found this 1927D the other day.

Why do you assume they couldn’t authenticate the coin?
Because any first would be authenicated with the die. And as far as government records they never exist.

The disappointment was the fact a shipping receiving manager before opening called to tell it wasnt. Not a grader. So the $150 it cost 90 with return shipping. After I said something I lost the remaining $60 credit. BAD BUSINESS

It also has the markings on the opposite side to further authenicate. Physically the only way it couldn't be is if the date was missing.
