TRYING T THANKS EVERYONEO GET THE DIFFERENCES CORRECT AND I SEE A LITTLE BIT OF WHAT IS BEING SAID ABOUT LOOKING FOR SPLIT ENDS AND HOW MOLDS ARE ROUNDED ON DDO AND DDR INSTEAD OF FLAT BUT THIS IS A NEWER DIME SO I WANTED TO CHECK.

I know something is punched prior to this mint and I assume it's a tilted D.am I wrong because I cannot find a photo to match at all so please help me friends

Now I'm really confused because when I looked this up in variety Vista it shows what's on my coin in every picture and it's listed ddr-001. So am I not supposed to match up pictures

I'm curious to know who coins get sent to in order to be authenticated as a new variety and if something as miniscule as the elevation of this "4" is something of a variety.i seem to recall something I read about low number variety pennies 1970 I think

I found this going through a bag of Kennedy's. It has a lot of pictures on variety Vista but I cannot find any info about auction history at all.the only thing listed is a lot of 74d DDO. THE VISTA HAS A LOT OF INFO BUT WHY NO AUCTION INFO? IVE NEVER RAN ACCROSS A NO HISTORY BEFORE

Well unlike others on here who have no sense of adventure and inability to have an open mind I wanted to show how much opinions differ.i purposely asked if it was a dd, waiting to see if someone brought up a possible repunched mark, which is what I thought. It would be a plating issue maybe, since it's a 92 penny but ...thanks for your encouragement

Looks like the president is projectile vomiting.punch a hole in it as to wear it as a symbol of the scrap that sometimes comes from the gov't.I have a dime I refer to as the "hannibal" dime that I'm going to get out and post now.

I just don't know how to classify that "2".it reminds me of a defective die or something? But it's a good find am I right?

I compared at least 10 dimes to this and came up with the fact that this is different.there is a double face on this 1960 dime! If you look at any other dime the mouth LINE is going a whole different direction. What do you all think?

I know that the doubling on the outside of these letters are from machine but on the inside,highlighted here,is pretty extensive as far as spacing goes so is it still machine made?

Ok so there is no mint mark on this quarter but the arrows into the leaf tell me it's a proof design but I cannot find anywhere that a proof coin was made in Philly,so how would I classify this coin?is it just a regular qtr?

The examples on ngc website showing examples of this coin has two points of interest which I point out in the next photos ,so if your telling me its not the right coin I'm very confused .am I not looking at this correctly?
