I was digging through a drawer and found this coin. I wasn't able to find anything like it online, and I'm unsure if it's an error coin or a slug. Its about as thick as a penny and dime, and feels somewhat lighter than a penny (I dont have any scales fine enough to accurately measure its weight). Before contacting any appraisers and spending anything, I wanted to get some second opinions on what it could be. Appreciate the responses - not sure what could've led to this if it is some damage. Will take it to a local appraiser in person to get a more final opinion since the pictures arent of sufficient quality. Cheers, and happy holidays
