  1. 20201018_205716_HDR.thumb.jpg.7cfebd7714cd00e6e329f8f9cf125648.jpgAbsolutely clueless on this. I'm seeing extra letters and numbers, along with deep grooves and discoloration. Underneath LIBERTY directly across from face seems to be a word I can't make out. Extra faint lettering between LIBERTY. Possible extra IN GOD WE TRUST motto distorted and misaligned? I believe I can see the numbers 1 and 6 within date. Reverse side only few small oddities

  2. I would appreciate if someone could educate me on this 1977 nickel I found. I know circulated coins hold less value, but that's not my concern. I'm trying to determine if this is a double die coin or is it machine stamped? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Actually upon further inspection, there seems to be the same error on the reverse as well in the word. Monticello.Screenshots_2020-09-03-05-42-01.thumb.png.c2dd7aca003d828a47271bafee41f714.png

  3. This is obviously not a high grade coin. Moving on from that, my question is, am I looking at an actual double die? Or is this MD? If you're capable of zooming in on the word IN, the I seems to either be split or there's more than one strike. Also the L on LIBERTY is odd. The E in LIBERTY definitely has a deep crack. I apologize for my poor photography skills

  4. I know the coin is severely damaged. Aside from that, within the excess gold there is restamping. At the bottom left corner of the building on the back I can barely make out the numbers 7 and 5 which are trippled. The word Cent is also restamped lightly under original word Cent in red. How do I go about identifying not only the original date, but also what it was overstamped with? I'm not understanding what I'm dealing with all around.
