Sorry, it appears I posted this in the wrong thread. When you say they have been plated, would it be safe to say they are not plated with real gold? I guess that makes sense. They do appear to be slightly thicker than a regular quarter.

Can someone take a gander at these? I imagine they are not super valuable but I am unsure. I also noticed a raised bump on the 1956 coin. I couldn't find one online with a similar blob. Would this be an error? Could it make it more valuable/unique by any chance?

Hi there, I am looking for an opinion on these coins please. I came across a coin collection of my Grandmothers and noticed these 2 quarters in the middle are odd. (The two on the outside are just for comparison) I tried to look it up and there was some suggestion that they could be gold plated? One is very gold while the other (right middle) has some silver hues with it.

Any expertise would be greatly appreciated.
