  1. Yes that would be good .thank you. I am sad to know error coins dont count...i would not have paid quite as much as i did if i knew . Live and learn right .

Honestly I'd love to just be able to be able to add everything I own to an online collection as i have with ngc.

Just to show it and share it.

Do the sacagawea / native dollars count in that list of no edge lettering errors? Just so i know in the future.

    Hello, Corey.

Thanks for your interest. Mint Error coins, with the exception of US Presidential Dollars with edge lettering errors, are not eligible for competitive NGC Registry sets. You may create a Custom Set, if you wish.

  2. Unfortunatly life has taught me that if i just let things be, i get the short end if the stick every time, so to speak. I do still try to wait a resonable amount of time though i dont always realise it hasnt been . both coin and medallion are now in my registry and i am super happy to have them.  While i need better pictures i have to say, i am doing pretty well considering how little time i have been involved and with how little money i actually have. NGC should totally make an award catagory for those of us who are broke as a joke and still make the coins happen...i dont even get $900 a month to live on , thats not after bills that is everything i get ,and having been at this for just less than a year and a half , im banging out the coins . i like or love everything i have, albeit for differant reasons, now if only i can find a catagory or two that i can focus on...sorry to ramble...i dont have anyone to discuss this stuff with so i tend to write small books as my comments without realising until its already been done

Anywho, thankyou for the response.  Be well. If you have any suggestions or can get people to look at my stuff and give me advice on anything needing it , id be quite happy about that.

  3. So what happens when you buy coins and the previous owners say the coin is theirs still? I have 2 coins i just baught that are still in other registries.  A pcgs ms68martha washington medal sn:: 81389166 and an ngc ms65 softpack eisenhower dollar in the ogp. Sn:: 4212371002 which it has been 3 days now and i havent heard anything back about it and its not in my registry yet. I the have proof that i bought them if needed .

  4. I would like to start a registry set of the Four horsemen of the apocalypse medals from golden state mint , there are 8 medals that i know of possibly 12 if the copper medals can be graded by ngc as well as the silver they have already.  I have   4647936-013 which is an antiqued finish silver black horse of famine which is one of the four in antiqued and 4810816-033 is a proof pale horse of death, which is one of four Silver proofs. In total there is the black horse of famine, pale horse of death, red horse and white horse of war and pestilance but I dont remember which is which off hand. I THINK red is war and white is pestilance .there are antiqued and proof silver versions of each. The entire mint set also has copper versions of each and a 10 ounce silver bar with proof finishes.

  5. I would also like to see anacs honored competatively or not. I prefer how the ngc registry is set up over all, vs. Pcgs and use it more , but i have to say, i can list anything i have in theirs...I don't think it even needs to be certified ...it just won't be used in their competative registry nor publicly shown . however, for a personal organizational tool it is a pretty good concept. I say and i bet some other people will agree that it would be fantastic to add and share everything a person owns and desries to share from their coin collection and make sets from them that can be shared publicly, but only ngc and now pcgs (and Idealy anacs as well) would be competitive and count twords the points and awards. Just a consideration .

Also I would like to make a "general collection" registry set where everything except two of the same coin(if I have five 1999 d pennies , whatever one is the best version like a variety coin or error coin or if not , the best label like first day of issue is the one that counts) will be added up.
