This is becoming very tiresome. You say that my package was shipped via FedEx on 1/26/2024 on the other hand FedEx says that have not yet received the package as of 5:34pm this date 1/29/2024. Would it be too much to ask where it is?

Question: Is the current turn around time for Express submissions no longer 3 working days? If so, could you please tell me what the expected turn around time is for Express submissions?

Also, if my coin that was submitted under 6961000 has been lost, misplaced, or ventured into the twilight zone never to seen again what if any compensation will I receive?

Would be so kind as to check on the status of submission 6961000. This express submission entered your system on 1/11/2024 along with express submission 6880453. Both submissions were for identical 1953 S Roosevelt dimes with "Bug Bunny" FS-401 variety. Both submission were paid for and charged to my credit card. Submission 6880453 has already been graded, authenticated, and returned to me. However, submission 6961000 seems to be stuck in limbo.

Yesterday at the FUN show I submitted a PCGS slabbed coin for crossover and variety attribution but neglected to check the crossover box. The rest of the information as to crossover minimum grade and certificate number were included on the submission form. The submission is under the Express tier. My question is, will my submission be treated as a crossover without that box being checked? If not can you relay that my intention is for this to be a crossover submission?

It has been my understanding that a reholder was  placing the existing coin and associated grade and attribution if any into a new plastic slab. Are you telling me now that this coin with its current attribution of FS-502 will be re-attributed as the FS-902 and placed into a new plastic slab for $13 and all the other associated fees? I have been mislead on several occasions when it comes to attributing different varieties and it has cost me hundreds of dollars and months of time for NGC to get it right. My guess is the coin will only be placed into a new slab with existing labeling and returned. Then will dance again and I will be told to resubmit as a variety submission for $18 and all the other associated fees.

Another very recent submission 6859715 was submitted with $136 for express service and variety attribution of the new CPG 1964 D/D Washington Quarter with the CONECA RPM-1. The coin was returned without the attribution and no explanation. You subsequently told me that NGC does not recognize this variety when in fact NGC does recognize CONECA RPMs assigning them a Variety Plus listing. I should have at least received that. I sent that coin to Variety Slabbing Service which immediately attributed it. That coin will be going off to PCGS for a regrade and variety attribution since they recognize that variety.

Based on your answer to my other questions it is obvious that NGC will not acknowledge this new designation by CPG for the FS-502 as being a misplaced mint mark (FS-902) instead of an RPM.

Since PCGS does acknowledge this new variety designation you leave me no choice but to change my TPG to them.

Additionally, why are you refusing to post my questions to the forum?

Recently in the latest Cherry Pickers Guide 6th Addition Vol 2, the 1964 D/D Washington Quarter FS-502 was changed from being a RPM to a Misplaced Mint Mark FS-902. My question is how will NGC handle the change for coins attributed as the FS-502?

Will it cost me to have my coin's attribution changed to reflect what the Cherry Pickers Guide indicates for this variety and if so what would the charges be?

I submitted an Express tier submission that USPS says was picked up at the post office on Feb. 13, 2023 at 2:12 pm. I noticed that this express submission has yet to be shown as received by NGC. The submission number is 6508160 and the USPS tracking number is 9505516298583041600108. Can you verify if my submission at least made it to your office?

Submission number 6472945 and 6472946 were entered as received by NGC on July 13, 2022. Submission number 6472945 is an express tier single coin submission for variety designation and grading. Submission 6472946 is a variety designation only submission of an existing NGC graded coin. Submission 6472946 is scheduled to return ship with submission 6472945.

It is my understanding that current turnaround times for express submissions is 5 days. Turnaround time for variety designation only shows 5 days since no grading tier is needed or selected. Both submissions show they have been checked for and have received the requested variety designation but are waiting grading. Since no grading is needed on submission 6472946 and we are at two weeks on express submission 6472945 could you advise when these submissions will be completed?

Last week on Thursday 11/18/2021 you stated that my express submission was in the encapsulation room. However, as I mentioned before this submission went received, scheduled for grading, grading/encapsulation/imaging/scheduled for grading. As of right now this Tuesday 11/23/2021 9:10am it is still in scheduled for grading.

I know that you are running behind and turn around times are not guaranteed. But, what is the point of paying for express tier turn around if we end up with early bird service? Surely there is a point that a refund to the lower tier is in order!

Hi Lisa,

Yes, EX was written on every side of the shipping box along with ATTN: EXPRESS TIER on the shipping label. In any event your site show it was received on 11/8/21 and my credit card was charged. So, you guys did have and open this submission. Also, as I wrote earlier I watched it go from received, scheduled for grading, grading/encapsulation/imaging and then back to scheduled for grading where it remains at this moment.

My submission page says that this submission is in your office for grading and quality control. However it was just delivered to me this day. Both coins were reverse proof 70 But a verification of the certificate number and grade comes back no such coins.

Are there problems with the websites being accurate?

My express tier submission was shown delivered to the Sarasota office on Monday March 22, 2021 at 12:51pm. The box is clearly marked Attn: Express Tier. However, it is yet to be shown as received. Can you shed light on the current turn around times for express submissions? I ask since the cost involved are significantly more that regular or economy submissions, but only worth it if the turn around time is as advertised.

I would like to check on submission number 4770965. USPS indicated that the package was delivered to an agent on Feb 24, 2020 at 1:34pm. However, it has not shown up as received on the submission status page.

Good Afternoon,

I wanted to let you know that my coin is on it's way back. I realize that your graders must look at hundreds if not thousands of coins a day and so some varieties might slip through. If it would be of any assistance I attached a screen shot of this variety from the Variety Vista web site. As I mentioned earlier I used this site's information for my belief that this coin does have the requested RPM.

Thank You for the quick response. I will resubmit for attribution after the coin returns. I checked my original submission form and the request for the CONECA RPM-002 is on the form. I did the original submission at the FUN show just to be sure that I had everything correct on the form. Therefore, when I resubmit should I mark the submission to your attention?

Well, I just noticed that my coin was not attributed with the CONECA RPM-002 even though it clearly has the RPM and the all the markers for that variety. I attached a screen shot of the coin in it's holder for your viewing (Certification Number 5844714-001).

So, why wasn't my coin given with the attribution and how can I get the attribution added to the label?
