It all started as a joke, lets start including our coins in the NGC Census.
Myself and Mr. Rudman, old numismatics friends, but have been in the shadow for the past 30 years did a bet, of a dinner, which collection of ours by December 31, 2009 was going to be closer to #1. Although most of our coins , NGC does not have the countries still as registered sets , we are really proud that Mr. rudman ended in #25 and myself (fernnado Baez) in #32, not bad for two rookies. This really help us out to organize all those coins. Thanks NGC for including Dominican Republic as a registered set and help us get our names in the top 50 and most important of all organize the mess we had. We want especially to thank Ms. Amy Lorenzo from NGC for all those inquiries that we sent and she with much courtesy responded.

on jan 22 -2009 i posted a journal regarding the bet that myself (fernando Baez) and mr. Isaac Rudman did.
We as avid collectors at the end of year 2009 ended Mr Rudman in place 25 in the overall place I ended in place 32. Now this coin adrenaline has really hit us hard. Mr. Rudman is in position #8 with 1,016,947 points , holding 1,015 certified coins. not bad for 16 months. I'm in position # 10 overall with 994,344 points and holding 1,923 coins ( #4th place as owner with most certified coins) This has really being a year dedicated to NGC registry set. We both are in a place that when we started and saw those people with those 1,000,000+ points , for us it seemed unreachable. Now we both have our goal for Dec. 2011 that is 2,000,000 points each. Guys on top of us ...... be ready to be displaced of your number!!!! Here we go to the attack ; our goal place 4-5 or 6.

    Unbelievable decision of NGC
it's amazing the decision of NGC to throw out all PCGS graded coins from their world registry set. were is the respect that NGC should have for all these collector's including myself regarding this decision. It's understandable that after Jan. 31 , 2012 , NGC won't accept in their registry PCGS graded coins , but after all the work and financial investment that we the collectors have made to make a set a #1 or #2 and suddenly the set will go to a very low position , because of this unilateral decision. It's not right from NGC to do this , especially that PCGS , as NGC says, has extremely similar grading standards as NGC , the reason to accept PCGS in their registry sets.
