I am pretty sure that it is the opposite of what you are saying. Unless we are just using the terms differently? Like for the 1979 SBA, I call it the narrow coin because the distance between the date and the rim is "narrow". However I believe that the correct term is wide because the rim is wide. This is for the error 1979 SBA. 

I have included a few screen shots from the PCGS app. 

I believe that it's showing that the "closer" numbers are the error and not "wide".

Please correct me if I am wrong.

P.S. I showed another coin that I believe is "closer" to a 30+ year contributor to the Red Book and he agreed that the one that I showed him was "closer".

Thanks for your input and opinion! I took a few more pictures of the coin. I used a 7x magnifying glass. Hope it helps!!! Thanks again for your help! P.S. if theoretically you had about 20+ of these coins both P & D (mint condition) what would you do? I just sent one in for grading but you are all well aware of the timeline for returns from the "grading companies"!!! Just sit on them and slowly get them graded and sold??? Some look closer and a couple look a little bit farther apart. I figured that I should use one that represented the majority of the coins. If you don't think that this one is a close AM please let me know and I will upload other coins.

I need another set of eyes on this one. Do you think that the penny shown below is a 1992 Close AM or Wide AM???
