    Hi,..I;m not new to coin collecting but I am new to this site and just signed up today. I find the discussions very interesting and look forward to future involvements. I have been collecting since 1958 and among my quarters I have had this one for some time. I thought when I first saw the coin that someone had attempted to cut the bust of Washington from the coin but absent any marks on the reverse that would have resulted from such an attempt, I believe it came from the mint in this condition. I would like your thoughts on this quarter. Mint damage or man-made?
