    Love the dime!

It's funny I was just thinking as to whether or not I should start to collect the Canadian nickles and dime series in circulation. Then fill in the ones that I cannot find on E**y. As I spend a lot of time in Canada on business I can go to the banks and buy rolls. I just recently started collecting all the small cents from 1920 to 2012 there are a lot of variations to that series and I am sure if I did the research more likely in the dime series as well. BTW I am kicking myself for not starting sooner on the pennies as I have been up there on business for 22 years!

Oh well, I am sure many of us were attracted to a series and started later than we ought to or could have!

Back on topic, love your dime!

  2. Ankur, you always purchase the most beautiful but elusive coins, I especially appreciate your rare gold coins you post here!

I am excited to report that I have finally after 3 1/2 years completed my Indian Eagle Philadelphia type coin set. All but the 33 which will be impossible to collect in my budget.

Enclosed are pics courtesy of Heritage Auctions. I cannot wait to get the coins in hand!

  3. Thanks CyberspaceVoid and nunfa0 I have been eyeing this coin for some time.

I am trying to collect pre 1935 MS-66 or better 20 Franacs and Kroners without breaking the bank and have some other gold coin pics to share that I'll add another time .

BTW, nunfa0 I like your NZ Half Penny and that guy on the horse from the reverse side of the 1998 Florin from brg5658 looks like he could have attended tonight's opening ceremonies from London! Neat coin!
