    atb 5oz coins?

    is it bullion or collector coins
    Ii recently wanted to purchase the 5oz ATB "coins" I went online and found them for 289. and about a week later the mint started selling the collector version. Well as I only wanted the mint releases and thought the problems with distrabution were resolved I called the firm I had ordered from A***x and my "coins" were still two weeks before shipment was due I called to cancel my order only to be told that I had purchased bullion futures and I was stuck with them. I was suprised since my order was not filled and not due for 2 more weeks .I went to a different site m*mart and found them for $75. less $150. & no returns be wary read the fine print or you may get burned

    How do the big guys get so many sets?
    I received a catalog from a coin firm in september for the new 5 coin 25 th set, they had pictures of the coins already slabbed with proof and mint state coins pictured, the 25th anniversary label graded 70 and a price tag of 4995.00. Thats right 2 months before release and nearly 5 yes FIVE thou.sand dollars, I consider myself lucky I spent three hours and was able to order two sets. Why the people at the mint dont use the list of people who have eagle subscriptions get 1st choice is beyond me. How do these firms know that they can offer even one set two months prior to release? Smells ROTTEN to me and any one else who was cut out should be furious.

    Hello all and congrats to Kamakazy great set. My last post I was person_without_enough_empathying about the big guys getting so many sets I did not mean to sound so cynical but I just want collectors to get the sets and not someone who will melt them for profit. I was reading posts on how to fill out the submission forms ,what to do and not to do so l called NGC and was told that they received 20k sets in a week and l was too cheap to overnight my package ( brain fart stuck on stupid ) either way l could kick myself. I just hope to get them for christmas now.Penny wise and pound foolish seems to apply to me ,I want to thank all for your replies and posts you guys are the best source for info, Happy collecting,and Happy Holidays .
