My latest Seated Dime addition. NGC VF-30, F-101

WOW, Idhair, that 1883 Half is beautiful. I'd actually go so far as to say it is a work of art.

If you're going to start collecting Seated Dollars, then I highly recommend that you join the Liberty Seated Collectors Club. You can find information about it at.... LSCC Home Page .
You'll see a link on there for the LSCC Message Board. This is the forum where all the Seated experts are.
Good luck.

Very nice original Seated Dollar. Hard to find with a nice original patina. Good job.

NGC MS-66.

Here's an NGC MS-66.

Beautiful nickel. I sometimes regret getting rid of my Buffalo registry set a couple of years ago. A gorgeous design.

Nothing special, but added an 1844 to my Dansco.
-
Beautiful dime SkyMan. Simply a work of art.

1946-S NGC MS-66*. I love these Washington proof like quarters. Only have two so far, and this one only has the proof like obverse.

Thinking about putting together a collection of PCGS OGH MS-66 FB Mercury's. Here's my first two.

Finished out my SLQ type set examples with this beauty from board member rexcat. He has a few more type set coins for sell in the BST, but I was super happy to get this one. The general consensus in the "GUESS THE GRADE" thread for this one was that it may be numerically under-graded a bit, and the FH designation was a bit contentious. There will be no cracking though. She'll be chilling in my type set for quite a while...
Beautiful coin. You can be proud of that one.

1853 with Arrows Liberty Seated Dime. Trying to build an AU date set and this is my first purchase. It's an NGC AU-53. Love the die clashing to the left of Liberty.

Gunny; the toning on your dime is magnificent. Many of the Barbers tone up very nicely and yours is one of them. Monster eye appeal!
That's why I got it. I don't even collect Barber Dimes, but had to have this one.

You should either be posting a coin dated 1900, or a Morgan Silver Dollar. An 1819 Bust Quarter doesn't work.
-
Very nice coin. I'll add that to my "What would I buy if I won the lottery" list.

1925-S California. PCGS MS-64.
-
Just a raw one I had sitting around.
-
OK, got it.

How did we go from an 1883 Liberty Nickel to a 2000 Sacagawea? This is supposed to be a "Follow The Lead Thread Picture Post" thread. I'm confused.

Here's a really ugly Half Cent that I got the other day from the local coin store. Picked it up because of the dramatic die break on the reverse. It is a Cohen Variety #6. Don't have many Half Cents so thinking about expanding my meager collection. The holes on the front lead me to believe that it was part of an ornament of some kind in the past.
