I want to thank fellow Texan, David (HashTag), for a smooth and pleasant transaction. I purchased a 2008 reverse of 2007 SAE and shipping only took two days. Great service, communication and superb packaging.

I purchased these coins the other day and I used my Samsung Galaxy, Microsoft Picture Manager, Microsoft Publisher, and GIMP to create these pics. Not bad from a cell phone...

Added two more Mexican Coins to my collection: I added some modern Libertad bullion sets that are limited to 1,000 sets...I love the rarity of modern Mexican bullion.
-
Roman...incredible coin! I look forward to seeing and hearing more about your collection.

Thanks everyone...here's two more that arrived in today's mail:

Welcome to the boards, John!
Thats a really nice 8 Real Pillar you got there ... I see the shipwreck notation, but I can't barely see what might be the salt water effect. The only Mexican coins I have, besides what I have picked up in change, are a few early 50 Peso Centenarios so It will be a pleasure to see what you have been collecting
Wendy
Wendy...this I do not understand as some (most) have saltwater damage and others seem to unaffected. How were some of these Reales protected from the seawater? These coins unaffected by the sea water run between 250 - 300 dollars and the coins affected run between 50 - 100 dollars. I love the El Cazador coins along with the 19th Century Reales and Peso. Aside from the bullion Libertads (of which the mintages are extremely low for a modern coin) I do not enjoy collecting modern coins.
I am a former baseball card collector and the similarities (in terms of the grading debates) are strikingly similar.
Sincerely,
John

New to the boards, my name is John Grillo and I live in San Antonio Texas. I enjoy collecting Mexican coins (I live in San Antonio)...I am an Academic Chair at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio and I have my Doctorate in Business Administration. Hope to learn as much as I can here as I am still a novice.

I just finished my Peace Silver Dollars set on the NGC registry...I am collecting Morgan Silver Dollars and modern commemoratives: here's a couple I picked up this week:
-
I just completed my American silver eagle set on the registry...I have procured all keys on the peace dollars as well and I am going to finish this set off. I am collecting an ungraded set of silver maple leafs and austrian philharmonic silver 1.5 euros. These are my immediate goals. Well anyway, here are my pickups for this week:
When I finish the peace silver dollars and silver maple leafs, I am just going to collect a combination of morgan silver dollars and trade dollars.

New to the boards here: Long time baseball card collector turned coin collector...many similarities, many differences
I am collecting pcgs/ngc graded Peace Silver Dollars, Franklin Half Dollars, and for bullion Silver Eagles, $5 Gold Eagles. Also raw Silver Maple Leafs and wildlife series (only 2 coins thus far). I am also interested in Morgan Silver Dollars and Trade Dollars but these will have to wait until I finish my sets. Picked these up on eBay a few days ago.
