Just a follow up to say Thank You for following up and having the Census correct for this coin

A week or so ago I called customer service asking to have what appears to be a typo in the Census corrected. The representative agreed that it was a typo and would send a message to have it corrected.
Since no correction has been done I just don’t want the issue to fall off the radar as I am the owner. Cert # 2006779-005 is listed as a 1a variety. The photo of the encapsulated token on the Cert verification page shows it to be a 2a variety.
Any assistance in getting the Census updated would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill (PennyGuy)

The latest addition to my proof registry set will finish it up. Seems like forever ago I bought the first one, the '73 Closed 3, so maybe it's approporiate to finish up with this '73 Open 3.
The plastic needs a good buff, and the photo some better lighting, for for now, here it is....

Thanks, sounds like extending that time a bit would help us slower old guys.

When I attempt to enter data into column fields I keep getting the small white box, rotating wheel inside and the word "Working", as I type. It's almost as though each character entered needs to be saved before it will accept another. Makes it hard to enter data without waiting for a curser, enter one character, wait for curser, enter one character, etc. I am using IE8. Any thoughts? Thanks

As a new poster/old collector here I would offer the following for two cent collectors:
"The Two Cent Piece and Varieties", Mryon M. Kliman, 1977
"Getting Your Two Cents Worth", Kevin Flynn, 1994
"all about the TWO CENTS", R. W. Julian, The Numismatist, December 2009
"TWO CENT PIECES OF THE UNITED STATES" S.W. Freeman, The Numismatist, June 1954
"Longacre's Two Cent Piece Die Varieties & Errors", Frank Leone, 1991

[quote=Golden AgeI am a brand new collector who has been extremely fortunate to have purchased several Gold coins and not been scammed or cheated. As a newbie to coin collecting, I am curious what TPG's and AT/NT stand for.
I appreciate this forum and am learning some vitally important facts.
TPG = Third Party Grader ie: NGC is a third party grader. There are many, many others. Generally NGC, PCGS, and ANACS are considered to be the top tier of TPG's
AT = Artifical Toning "Coin Doctors" will doctor a coin to create the toning many collectors desire
NT = Natural Toining The toning coins pick up from the environment they are stored in. Many times this is old coin albums that were not totally acid free.
You can also use the search function to find many discussion on these topics.
