    I hope you guys like the new pics
    I've really enjoyed reading all the recent journals regarding toned coins. You guys inspired me to finally take the time to post some decent pictures of my German State 2M, 3M, & 5M coins including my latest addition shown below. It's a beautiful 1909 Saxony 5 mark celebrating the 500th Anniversary of Leipzig University.

    My bad!
    Troy, I jumped the gun on adding this coin to my set. I?m really sorry about that!!! I guess the guy I bought it from on ebay reuses his pictures. When you released it, the coin and pictures were transfered automatically to my set. I just accepted your request for transfer so it should now be back in your set. By the way I've had this happen to me before but I didn't accept the transfer. Hope there's no hard feelings!

    UHR back from NGC

    Hello everyone. I?m a newbie on the site. I?ve been collecting for about 4 yrs and decided to join back in January. Here?s how my first 9 submissions to NGC came out:

    I am thrilled to get the MS70 on the UHR! The Olympic coins graded better than expected. I was hoping for a 70 on the Buffalos but am very pleased overall! These will soon be part of my registry sets. Additional pictures will be posted there.

    3 70's out 6, not too bad.
    I just checked NGC's site and they had posted the results for the 6 Louis Braille commemoratives "3 proofs and 3 uncirulated" I had sent in. Below are the results.
    I really thought 2 of the proofs would could back as 70's.

    The 3 uncirculated coins came back as expected.

    My goal was to get at least 1 70 of each type for my registry set. Mission accomplished! The rest will go off to ebay to recoupe some funds for the next purchase.

    I know they are all modern coins but..
    I can't believe they all came back 70's.
    I've had the 3 first spouse coins for a while but needed 2 more coins to meet NGC's 5 coin minimum submission requirements. When I found out there would only be 8000 of the 2009 Proof Platinum eagles minted and that the UHR sales were ending I decided to order one of each. Boy I'm glad I did! The first spouse pics have been added to my registry sets. The Platinum Proof Eagle is below. Enjoy!
